DMY Satellite Exhibition - Studio Gorm

Direktorenhaus will host Studio Gorm´s camp installation as one of DMY International Design Festival Berlin's Satellite exhibitions.  
Stu­dio Gorm is a col­la­bo­ra­ti­on bet­ween John Arndt and Won­hee Jeong. The two met while stu­dy­ing in the mas­ters pro­gram at the De­sign Aca­de­my Eind­ho­ven. They set up their stu­dio in Rot­ter­dam, the Nether­lands. Their of­fice is now lo­ca­ted in Eu­ge­ne OR where they also work in the Pro­duct De­sign Pro­gram at the Uni­ver­si­ty

of Ore­gon. The two come at de­sign from dif­fe­rent ap­proa­ches to pro­du­ce smart ob­jects wi­thout pre­ten­si­on and warm com­for­ta­ble en­vi­ron­ments. Their pro­ducts are sim­ple prac­tical and thought­ful­ly made. Since star­ting their stu­dio they have worked with the ar­chi­tec­tu­re of­fice MVRDV, Stu­dio Ber­jan Pot, and Droog De­sign. Since their debut at the Salon de Mo­bi­le in Milan in 2007 their work has been fea­tured in nu­merous pu­bli­ca­ti­ons and ex­hi­bi­ti­ons all over the world.
