Today is the start of The Action Weaver Travis Meinolf’s open residency at Direktorenhaus. The Action Weaver will be working out of Direktorenhaus' ground floor Blue Room during September, using the studio as an open atelier and teaching space.

Travis' inaugural project, 'Mustermann' will see him take one of his looms out right into the middle of Berlin-Mitte to weave wool cloth in the open taking design direction from passersby. This is an open an interactive process where the viewer chooses the wool colour.
