They're more minimal and use sand, miniature retaining walls, rocks and minerals to complete the story. Litill got into terrariums as a sort of response to working in floral shops - seeing the amount of waste and byproduct of that business on a daily basis. There's dyes and other chemicals and processes that Litill didn't like to deal with. Terrariums by their very design are sustainable, Litill was drawn to this idea that it could just sit there with minimal effort and look beautiful. Part of creating that harmony was the combination of elements inside and out - the glass vessel, the plants, the sand.
