The project “llusions of as small world“ is a fusion between food of the future and expo space - a dynamic insect city. In that our sense of taste is challenged by our visual input. Visitors are on one hand looking down on the small insects, but are on the other hand drawn inside their world, through the large reflections in the space.
All is Illuminated by 10 overhead projectors. A cook is preparing insect delicatessen in a separate space with 1000 loose grasshoppers. Do you want to try freshly made insect sushi and tempura? Knol consists of Sylvie Meuffels, Celine de Waal Malefijt and Jorien Kemerink.
