April 2012. From June 1st to 10th, 2012 a unique exhibition of JENAER GLAS takes place in the Direktorenhaus in Berlin on the occasion of the Taste Festival. A synonym for heatresistant borosilicate glass since 1918, the brand stands out from the others with its range of timeless and convenient products for the preparation, serving and storage of food and beverages. The exhibition “JENAER GLAS – Design with history. From the Bauhaus until today” takes the visitors on a unique trip through the history and the products of the brand.
Unity of art and technology
Among others design classics of the Bauhaus designer Wilhelm Wagenfeld of the 1930's are presented, such as the tea set of the Edition Wilhelm Wagenfeld and the Eierkoch which he designed.
