Troels Flensted Studio is a Danish design studio founded with the desire to challenge materials and production processes. By exploring characteristics and expressions of materials he creates products which tell new and meaningful stories.
His fascination lies in materials, colours and how things are made, and to find inspiration in the aesthetic and undiscovered possibilities deriving from combining them. Usually his projects start with experimentation and intensive research and often result in limited edition and one-off pieces. Some projects are further explored in order to achieve accessible design pieces and a more rational production process. This approach has led to several awards, grants, and participation in numerous prestigious exhibitions.
