Dresden Artist and Designer Anne Petters works with a broad range of materials to create filigree structures, sculptures and installations. Delicacy and transcience are part of her aesthetics. Her favorite material is glass, but her oevre also features works of ice, salt and paper.
After studying Art History and American Literature Petters made her diploma in Fine Art, Sculpture and Glass Art at German University Hoehr-Grenhausen. She received multiple scholarships, awards and was part of various Artist in Residence Programmes. At latest, she received the Goeffrey Bond Award and worked at norwegian Bergen S12 Gallery. Petters also worked as a teacher and lecturer at multiple institutions.
