Blacksmith and metal designer Nils Hint lives and works in Estonia. His works range from contemporary jewellery to installations and sculptures. Based on the forms of everyday metal objects such as scissors or nails, he explores the unusual aesthetics of the untreated material and sometimes creates chimeras between tools and cutlery.
Hint studied metal construction at the Academy of Arts in Estonia and has since worked as a freelance artist and blacksmith. His works have been shown in numerous European galleries and at international fairs over the last ten years. They are also part of the collection of the Estonian Museum of Applied Arts and Design.
