Simone Fezer recreates the natural forms of micro- and macrosopic worlds, connects highly diverse materials in her installations and lets creatures appear in a new light. For the most part, she uses glass for her work.
Fezer studied at international insitutions, like the Penland School of Craft and the Chicago Art Institute. Since 1999, she works as independent artist and teaches at the Stuttgart State Academy of Art and Design. Fezers objects are exhibited throughout all of germany and received, among others, the Jutta Cuny-Franz memorial prize in 2003.
